How it works & examples

How does the marketing campaign simulator work?

Estimate a campaign funnel from impressions through clicks, signups, trials, and subscriptions. The simulator turns your stage-rate assumptions into a projected performance snapshot.

How to use this tool

Enter campaign cost, impressions, CTR, signup rate, trial rate, trial-to-subscription rate, and subscription price. Each rate applies to the preceding stage. Modeled revenue equals subscribers × subscription price.

Example

100,000 impressions at 2% CTR yields 2,000 clicks. With 10% signup, 50% trial, and 20% trial conversion, the model gives 200 signups, 100 trials, and 20 subscribers. At $50 each, revenue is $1,000.

Understanding your result

This is a deterministic scenario, not a forecast based on campaign history. Its acquisition-cost output uses signups, so it is cost per signup rather than cost per paying subscriber. Its ROI compares modeled revenue with campaign cost and excludes servicing costs, retention, and lifetime revenue.
