How does the revenue forecast work?

Project monthly revenue from a starting figure, a constant growth rate, and a constant revenue churn rate. The chart shows a scenario based on your assumptions.

How to use this tool

Enter current monthly revenue, monthly growth and churn percentages, and the number of future months. Each next month equals the previous month’s revenue × (1 + growth ÷ 100) × (1 − churn ÷ 100).

Example

$10,000 starting monthly revenue, 10% growth, and 2% churn produces $10,780 in month one. Churn is applied after growth, so the net increase is 7.8%, not exactly 8%.

Understanding your result

The model repeats the same rates every month. It does not automatically incorporate seasonality, capacity limits, changing acquisition costs, or customer cohorts. Avoid including the same churn effect in both your growth assumption and churn input.
