What is retention rate?

Retention rate represents the percentage of users who continue using your product over a given time period. The higher your retention, the better. A higher retention rate indicates that your product is engaging and sticky. To calculate retention rate, divide the number of users retained at the end of a time period by the number of users at the start of a time period.
